DS5-R and TWO 5-pin cables!!
« on: November 23, 2009, 02:32:54 PM »
Since Garth is now the proud owner of 76AC070 and she is jetting her way across the BIG pond to Hong Kong, I no longer have need of the DS5-R and the TWO 5-pin cables that remain.

So, I am offering that set to Club Members, first, and I am setting the price at a ridiculous $350.00.

PLEASE NOTE: The DS5-R will have to be looked-over by a qualified tech as it has a slight hummmmmmmmmm emanating  from one of the outputs. Not serious, but noticeable.

:>)

As with 76AC070 - the first person who steps-up gets it!

SPECIAL TIMING NOTE: I am in Key West (celebrating Rosie's and my 15th Anniversary) and will not be back home until late Wednesday. With that said, I will not be able to ship until Friday - if someone has indicated by then that they want it, that is.

Cheers all!

Chris

Key West, huh?  Great place.  Senior Management and I will be making our annual pilgrimage next week.  If I can offer one suggestion, if you haven't eaten at Blue Heaven you haven't experienced my favorite restaurant.  Especially wonderful is the carrot/curry soup.  And make sure to leave room for the Banana Heaven, the Alembic of desserts!  Now if only you were selling the old blue box ....

Bill,

I have the old Blue Box, and it's in great condition.  I'd trade it for the rackmount verison, maybe...  Maybe.

Peace;)

Bill -

Thanks for the tip. We were already planning to head over there, today! My daughter and her boyfriend (along with other business partners) just opened a restaurant on Duval named Blackfin Bistro. It is the 900 block. They already seem to know of all of the good spots to go. B.O.'s is also on the list.

Stop in to the Blackfin during your pilgrimage and ask for Michael or Suzanne. Then mention that you know Suzanne's dad.

Have fun!

Will do.  We'll be staying 9 blocks away at the Pier House.  By the way, for a great nothing fancy or foo-foo breakfast, the locals love Pepe's on Caroline Street, about three blocks up from Duval.
