Recently I acquired this Oasis guitar made by Gary Cooper(ex-Alembic Luthier) if I'm not mistaken  but I guess previously discussed here on this forum.I was surprised by his style of making instruments.this guitars are really rare and are dissapearing of the planet forever.I'm thinking about selling it because I'm a Pro bass player, and would like to pass onto someone that would like to keep his legacy alive.this guitar was made between 1977-1979.anyone interested among the members let me know before having as an Ebay option?

I would like to say to every possible and future owner of this guitar, that I will try in everyway to eliminate a possibility seeing this wonderful guitar back for sale on ebay days after it's sold.this guitar deserves respect for my dear Friend Gary and his family, therefore don't want people taking advantage of the situation trying later on to re sale it asking then a huge amount of money,I would like to sale once and for all for a fair and realisticly price so this way people won't take advantage of this guitar.so sorry to say that but didn't realize how demanding this guitar was as profitable way can be to many people out there, thanks to you!

That's got to be the sister to my Oasis bass. What truly wonderful instruments he made. Like my Alembics, I've had more than one producer say what the hell is that?. The Oasis was always my amp testing bass because of it's strong signal, if the amp held together with that bass it would take anything else in my arsenal. I originally went into NYC to buy either an Alembic or Hyak when I spotted her in a used guitar store. The choice became simple. I would love to have a fretless one as well.I've only seen one my whole life. Love the bass so much I had my first two Alembics shaped like the Oasis.
