DS-5R/5 pin cable and F1X
« on: March 12, 2011, 05:54:10 AM »
My basement runneth over!!!  I'm slowly weaning myself down to the instruments/gear that I actually occasionally use.

While I had hoped to replace my long scale SI (recently sold) with a short scale SI, I'm actually VERY happy with my SC and BB.  As such, I don't need my DS-5R and cable.  $375 takes both and I'll handle the shipping (CONUS).

The F1X really doesn't suit my needs: $550 and I'll handle the shipping (CONUS).

Here is a pic of the F1X.  It works fine.  The inability to boost mids just doesn't work for me.  Running the Pro Channel in the effects loop gave me the control I was looking for, but I was lugging around too much crap!!!  I'm now running a Boss ME-50B into a SansAmp Bass Driver and either going straight into the board or (if I need an on-stage cabinet) my QSC PLX3402/El Whappo Jr.
