End of an Era

I hauled my bass rig up to a gig after work yesterday, arranged over the last few weeks by the singer I usually work with, keyboard player, etc., - walked in the door, and turned out to be April Fool's joke - dinner with family and friends instead, all waiting for me to struggle in door with my bass, amp, gig bag, music stand...much levity.  should've known to be wary of  a gig on April 1.

Ouch.  You seem like a pretty good sport to be taking the joke so well.

Enzo  you are right It would take a heck of a lot to bring me to sell my Alembics. Even thought I don't do many gigs these days. I do get a lot of enjoyment out of playing them at the few gigs I do, playing them at home and of course owning them. They all have a beautiful sound and look beautiful and feel amazing to play.

But then you know that from your own instruments.

I guess that's one way to help nature produce more coal in the future. :-)
