2006 Music Man Stingray Special Edition Bass
« on: June 16, 2009, 04:18:11 PM »
Hi all,
I am in Ireland and I have just bought a used 2006 Music Man Stingray Special Edition Bass. I have been told that the guitar was bought new for 2500 Euro, was stored in its case in a recording studio for the past 3 years and only taken out to be played 2 or 3 times. I checked it out and its exactly like new with its original case, manual, cleaning cloths, pretty much all its original accessories.
My questions are, what was the true cost of this magnificent piece of equipment, and how many were manufactured in this Limited Edition thanks guys.

Welcome to the club,  I have a Namm anniversary Musicman with a Status Graphite neck. I'm not sure how similar this is to yours. I paid 2500 dollars for mine in excellent condition. Here are some pics of mine:

That's a 2006 NAMM bass with a Status manufactured graphite neck. Only 100 were made. It's rare but not particularly sought after, apart from die hard collectors.
