I got to sing...

People get ready, there's a train a comin'
You don't need no baggage, you just get on board
All you need is faith to hear the diesels hummin'
Don't need no ticket, you just thank the Lord

People get ready for the train to Jordan
It's picking up passengers from coast to coast
Faith is the key, open the doors and board 'em
There's hope for all among those loved the most.

There ain't no room for the hopeless sinner
Who would hurt all mankind just to save his own
Have pity on those whose chances grow thinner
For there's no hiding place against the Kingdom's throne

So people get ready, there's a train a comin'
You don't need no baggage, you just get on board
All you need is faith to hear the diesels hummin'
Don't need no ticket, you just thank the Lord

GOD BLESS YOU MICHAEL JACKSON, YOU ARE WITH GOD NOW MY BROTHER.

One of my favorite bass parts of all time was in the Jackson 5 song I want you back.  Check it out.

Michael Doctor fled the area without a trace, and is now being pursued by police...  Sounds like a medical malpractice.

Oh no no no.

Michael's behavior in my mind overshadows everything he ever did. Including Thriller. And I love Thriller, I used to wear a red jacket with all the zippers and one glove.

We all gotta go sometime. He made an impact with his art that will remain a stellar achievement. His path took a turn that I found disturbing but I never knew him and never knew I existed so in the end it my views did not effect him. I will give extreme credit to him and Quincy for getting Eddie Van Halen to do the solo on Beat it. All my metal head white boy buddies bought that record and it introduced them to his music. Mind you we were all pissed that he wasn't on the whole record but the sale was made. No illegal downloads then my brothers! Jahmon!

Billie Jean bass line is fun to play.  It is a great all-time hook.

Billie Jean's not my love.
She's just some chick with my other glove.

What I can't figure out is how these fans you see on TV look like they were to young to remember his heyday. Alot like the Touchheads.

Wade it's like my 2 daughters and Elvis. They spent this past weekend driving to Memphis to visit Graceland and they are both way to young to remember Elvis' heyday.
Same thing with Michael, while I personaly was not a huge fan of his music I do realize timeless musical genius when I hear it. He'll have fans for generations to come.

I still say Sammy Davis Jr. was the Greatest Entertainer there ever was...

All respect do to Michael Jackson, but Berry Gordy was dead wrong in my opinion; when he said Michael was greater than his title as King of Pop, by saying he was the greatest Entertainer of all time. Now that was a bit of a stretch...

Michael couldn't touch Sammy Davis Jr.

Sammy did done it all... Dancing, Singing, Drumming, Acting, Broadway Musicals, Trumpeting and Politically speaking, compared to Michael... Sammy had more style, grace and poise than Michael Jackson.

No - gimmicks, Music videos, hanging babies, strange closed court settlements, or Frankenstein transformations.

Sammy was as real as one could get in this business called show business.
