It pains me to do this but times are rough and money is tight and this just simply too nice of an instrument for me. I've only gigged this bass once since I've had it and protected it with my life. This is the best sounding and playing bass I've ever got my hands on and hate to do this. trade options: Gibson Ripper(all ebony), Gibson G-3(all maple), any Gibson RD Artist bass, or a nice vintage Hagstrom 8 string(all of which have to be 100% original with no repairs to the body/neck)

I'm in Michigan too and for a grand you're not going to beat Taylor's bass! I've personally spoke with him on and off for about 2 years. He's a great guy and being from Michigan too, i'll say this is a done deal! Ric's can't hang with Alembics!
