I am new to this forum and would like to sell my early 80's Alembic Exploiter Guitar since it does not get played as much as it should. Beautiful instrument, all original including the pesky Kahler bridge. Maple top, bubinga body(looks like mahogany to me). A finer example would be very hard to find. Shoot me an offer or questions if interested.

Luvvvvv that body shape.

Always been an Explorer/ploiter/Spyder fan.

They are more balanced that one would think.

What's the weight on that bad boy, if you don't mind me asking?

It IS a nice guitar.... I'm curious what year it was made. I don't recall seeing this model Kahler until around '88-'89

I am really open to offers around $2500. These don't come up for sale very often so it is hard to guage a market price. Thought I'd let folks who follow the Alembic market provide some guidance. It's a great guitar, so I'm not interested in wholesaling it.

A serial number may help answer Mike Pace's question about the bridge. And potentially offer up a cross reference to the build information on that beauty of an instrument.
The serial number can generally be found stamped on the neck just above the 24th fret.
