FT/FS 2004 Mark King Deluxe 5-string bass [TRADED]
« on: January 27, 2014, 01:59:48 PM »
Hey folks. I just got this bass. I totally love it...but...I am not hip on 19mm spacing. I have decided to go back to the 4-tring bass. So any trade I make will ONLY be for another Alembic for equal or greater value. I am willing to trade for four string Mark Kings, Stanley s, Series I or II basses. I am also willing to look at Med scale, but not short scale. Bass is in excellent condition and would be shipped in its Hard Shell case, the snap latches may need to be replaced soon. Other than that all is good. For an all out sale i am looking to get $4150 Shipped in continental US. Here are a couple of pics with me playing it and youtube video as well. If there is any interest I can send more. Thanks for looking

The 19mm and 5-strings are hurting my left hand Lloyd, broken pinky injury from 1978 has come back to haunt me with arthritis.

Great bass playing on the vid. What is your rig setup?

Thank you so much Don, on that particular gig I was playing through an Eden WT550B Head and an Acme Low B2 Series III cab. The video was married to a board and crowd matrix recording.

Just an update, I am narrowing down my trade options to Mark King and Series I or II 4 string basses. I maybe interested in a narrow spaced 5-string Series. Thank you, no rush, willing to wait for the right Alembic.

Hmmmm.... I have a SWEET Mark King (BalK w/heart omega) with a VERY nice Walnut top.  I've just recently semi-made a transition to 5-string.  Email me at mike1762@gmail.com if you might be interested and I can send some pics.
