I hate to sell this bass but I'm not working now and going back to school, so I need to sell this so I can do stuff like pay my mortgage and eat.
I'm asking $2500 plus shipping. While I do need the money, I don't need it soon so I don't plan on entertaining many offers right away. That may change in a month or so...
Comes with OHSC (beat up), the power supply, and a long cable (20ft?)
There are some condition issues. There is a headstock joint repair. It wasn't completely broken off and is stable. The main volume knob is cracked and so is the selector switch. There is finish checking and some scratches. I'm a little embarrassed to say so, but I had a fret job done on it and it isn't great. I take that back, it functions great but it isn't pretty. There is a new Alembic adjustable nut put on but I still have the original brass nut. The adjustable nut isn't exactly centered but the string slots are where they should be. I'm not sure what the deal is with that. The neck pickup is pretty clean but the bridge pickup is noisy like a lot of the old Alembics. The bass plays and sounds great. The neck is wide at a full 1 3/4 inch.
