"Marylin" 6 strings long scale S2 FS/FT
« on: September 27, 2015, 02:55:10 PM »
Hi Alembicians

I envisage to leave this beauty :
http://club.alembic.com/Images/411/6742.html?1418448599

Being played last year in a dozen of gigs, this incredible bass is a bit too large, long and complex for me... Despite the fact she is the most beautiful instrument I ever had, I'm more looking to a 5 strings (beadg), preferably medium or short scale... More compatible with my band activities. Series are preferred but I'm open to any interesting trade (included 4 strings). The beautiful blonde is located in Belgium and will come with the all package (case, short and long wires, ds5r).

Best for you

Thomas

Marilyn is still here... I was not completely ready to let it go. Maybe in the future she will move, depending if I succeed to play her and what will cross my way (for example this incredible S2 five strings proposed by Thomas now). All roads are still opened.

Regards

Thomad

By the way. I Have a little issue with the pick-up selector wich is not in good shape and causes some noise. I plan to go soon at Edwin's shop (2 hours from here) to replace it and ask him for a complete check-up and setting.

I would love to meet you there and (though there's no way I could afford it now) see her in person, could you shoot me a mail if your going?
Also two hours from his place, but I'm coming in from the North :-)

Stunning!!!
Has a definite family resemblance with my Capricious Blonde:

FC Bass,

My agenda is very busy for the moment and fortunately, I have my SC as back up for rehearsal and gigs... but for sure, I'll let you know when I'll make my jump to the Netherland.

Looking forward to meet you,

Thomas

el8ed,

Your Capricious Blonde is stunning too... It looks like Marilyn's little sister (because one string less :)). Personnaly, I prefer the tip point body than the Omega... and the five strings :). Your electronics seems a bit more complex too... is there some customization there ? And for the wood mix ? Mine is (maple/walnut/mahogany/maple/mahogany/walnut/maple) and eleven plies neck (which is not visible on your picture).

You should have a lot of pleasure on this...

best regards,

Thomas
