I have a beautiful NOS mint condition Alembic Essence 6 string bass with upgrade matching back laminate. It is a 34 scale, weighs about 10lbs, and plays like a dream. The best sounding Essence I have ever had, by far. The neck carve is also not too chunky which makes it a joy to play. The top and back are figured bubinga, and the core is mahogany with maple accent stripes. Neck is quarter sawn maple and walnut. Comes complete with original hardshell case in superb condition, paperwork, strap locks, and tools. The bass was made in 1998, and has been in climate controlled storage since then. Total time capsule. Never sold or previously owned or registered. The action is slammed, and there is nothing it needs except a new owner. It is currently listed on Ebay as item # 322056558699.
