Nope - just noodled on it for a minute or two unplugged. The ebony board seemed very thick to me and all Epics feel a bit on the neck heavy side, in my opinion. The neck pickup wasn't properly set up (it was loose) but didn't appear to be cracked and the screws were all there. They probably tried to raise it up and were surprised when springs didn't do the job as they loosened the top screws.
It seemed a very typical example of the model from my cursory examination.
Also, it's a very typical price for a used Epic 5. If it is inconvenient for you, you should be able to locate one on eBay or closer to you for similar money.
Good luck!
