Would this bass have sold for over $4000 twenty years ago? Does Mr. Clarke play a bass that looks like this one? Hmmm..... I like the Zebrawood but my spider sense has activated.

I disagree with the price quote. If one would not be realistic to sell an item I would not deal with them. Just like someone who was interested in my SC deluxe and suggested that his Orion w/leds was worth me sending my Stanley plus another bass plus a little cash. I teach emotionally disturbed teens and that one threw me for a loop.

I'm starting to think one should be required to take a test to own an Alembic. You know,like, have you ever seen a bass before? Can you spell Alembic? How late do your parents let you stay up? How long is your school bus? Are you dating your sister?
