Bids are now up to $3801...sorry, Bill. Did anybody notice the non-stock JG-style tailpiece...it's finish doesn't quite match the Alembic bridge. Might be (another?) jack of roses piece.

It's a little tough to tell from the photos, but the tailpiece appears to be brass and ebony and more refined than jack of roses. I suppose it could be a mod, but it looks Alembic to me.

The guitar is mine -the tailpiece is Alembic.  I sent it back to the factory 6 months into ownership.  At that visit back home, the electronics were upgraded and the tailpiece was added at my request.  It will be going back on ebay soon.

Is the Tiger medallion OEM Alembic or is it aftermarket?

The Tiger is aftermarket made from drawings of Jerry's.  It is mother of perl set in ebony

I'm assuming it's just a medallion...in other words, it's not a stash or electronics compartment cover, it's just a wooden medallion screwed to the top of the guitar.
