Auction ended, reserve not met.  Oh well, I am sure he will get that $9,000 next time.

I will set the reserve at $3,950.

At this rate in a few months it will be reasonable.

So let's see now, first he lists it with a $4500 reserve and gets two bidders, one that bids $4149 and another that bids $4099.  Then he relists it with a $3950 reserve and a $4000 BIN.  Now I'm sure those two bids were shills.  Otherwise why not sell it to them?  And why doesn't either of the previous bidders use BIN for less than their original bid?  Using this seller's method, I think I just set the all time record for sale price on an Alembic.  I just sold my Electrum for $1,000,000,000.00 to myself!

Hope you don't have to pay any sales tax on that one, Bill!

I'm sorry, I just have to laugh at this guy.  He has relisted again, and this time lowered the opening bid to $1000, but he says he is still keeping the reserve at $3900.  Cause you know, it was the opening bid that was the problem, not setting the reserve about $1500 to high. I bet he gets that $9000 this time!
