I looked into this bass a little bit, but have decided I want to hold out for a medium scale for now. But I did put in a serial number request for it, which is still pending.

Note, the eBay listing says it is a 1992 model, but the serial number says it is a 1996. But it is a beautiful bass and looks very clean.

There has been lots of bidding, currently at $2024 with 3 days left. Here is the eBay listing:

Hey Guys -
Great site, I just joined the ranks of Alembic Ownership as I just bought the bass listed on Ebay. I've never played an Alembic and am looking forward to this one. I play a lot of other basses and Hopefully this will become one of my faves. Take care all!

Welcome to the club Dennis. If your new MK plays and sounds anything like the mine. You'll be very pleased. The wood on your bass is WAY cool man. It took me a little getting used to the electronics on mine but once I did, WHOA!
