Seems to me this used to be close to seven grand. This is the one with all the knobs and people had speculated that it may have a Superfilter inside.

funny you should bring this up, i hadn't visited elderly's site in some time.  the other day on a whim i pulled it up to see if they ever unloaded that fretless and it's still there.  i was gonna post about it but got distracted by work.
 
at $5850 it's probably pushing the envelope price-wise imho (no case makes it worse).  but ya never know, it may just the thing to push someone's button.  the side LEDs make it tempting to me, but ya gotta wonder how well the bass has been maintained, what kind of shape the neck is in, what kind of issues the electronics have, etc etc.  having owned a stable of old and new instruments i'm pretty wary of surprises.
 
wonder what the old girl weighs and how she balances.  all of those electronics in the body probably offset the neck dive...

Well it's been removed from the elderly site...either the seller got tired of having it on consignment or some well-heeled buyer could no longer resist the allure...
