There was a recent previous thread about this guitar and Ed Roman's (inaccurate) claim that Oasis was the predessor of Alembic. Look here:

yep - ed roman has been proven to be full of $hit on a number of forums.
he's got a nice series I fretless up for sale:

hehe, when I posted the original link I didn't notice the 'ed' logo up top....now I know.
I would have hesitated in taking part in passive advertising, after all, it seems the dollar is the vote that counts,
