Here's a Virtual axe I would love to see in a simulated music program... perhaps the dream of this would come true... All dreams are gateways to creativity and imagination.

Well, I don't like it either (but, as I'm prefering just to write compliments, better pass that on...)
Not just a bass, this is an Alembic!

Hi Toma Hawk,

I just wanted to let you know that the Guitar Hero game does have the ability to play the bass simulator as well as the guitar.  Also, the new Beatles Rock Band has the bass included.  I had never played these games before this past weekend, when my son's friend brought over Guitar Hero III and his little plastic guitars.  I was happy to see that I could choose to use the bass to try it out.  But after playing Foghat's Slow Ride once (and doing OK score-wise) I picked up my real bass and had much more fun with that!  But the kids love the game and I can see that it can actually help them with timing in real playing.

Note, this is not the first Alembic instrument with a plastic top. It's the second. The first one is a Spoiler in Norway with a laminate of pearloid across the entire face of the bass.

They can't all be medium scale Series I Standard Point basses in Bird's-eye Maple (my personal favorite)!

That's Wonderful!

Do you know if Chic's jam Good Times bass riffs included?

Those are fun starters.

If not, much work should be done... I am going to make a plea to the developers and see if I could  help in this regards.

Anybody want's to join me?

I don't have any handy - that was in the old days of actual film. I do need to sort those boxes of pictures out someday.

What you need to do for pictures, build files, etc., is hire a company archivist, Mica.  I happen to know where you could find one who's out of work.....

Yes, we made 2 guitars, they are close to identical. Thanks for the heads up on the broken links. They are now repaired as far as I can tell.

Hal, This weekend during my time of travail watching the Bears learn how to play football miserably for 3 hours, I noticed several ads for the next big gaming addition to music: DJ Hero  I mean, what happened to Keyboard Hero or Sax Hero or even Vocorder Hero? (I think I just threw up a little in my mouth)

Does anyone else remember Woody Allen as a cellist in a school marching band?

I thought that my all-black Electrum was the ugliest looking Alembic ever. But this one gives mine a run for its money.

But what matters is how it plays and sounds.  Anyone played it enough to comment on what matters?
