That was discussed by the seller here earlier...very nice guitar, and rare! He's dropped the starting bid a bit and may get bidders this time.

Read the description closely:

It has a MUJITECH HI/LO Midrange Control preamp instead of an original Alembic active circuit.

No Alembic guts? No pay $1650.

Oh...that's true, Bill. Getting it back to stock would be several hundred dollars, but probably worth it. You don't see many single pup front jackplate Distillates!
