'87 California ballpark appraisal
« on: November 14, 2010, 05:11:47 PM »
I'm thinking (emphasis on thinking)of eBaying by Alembic and wondering what I should start the bidding at.

I realize that it's a practically a mortal sin to get rid of it.  But financial times are tough and it's on the table, so to speak.

It's in pretty good condition despite heavy use for the past 20 or so years since I've had it.  The volume pot has recently been stripped out but it still works.  Other than that, it's got a few nicks and scratches throughout but nothing major.

I'll post some pics.

Those models don't come up for sale very often so it would be good to see this one. I was looking for one for years and gave up in the end and got an orion guitar instead.

well, i did use her in a videosong.  if you're not into the song itself, you can skip ahead to 2:20 and i feature her but not in any lead type of sense.  more for coloring.

Nice recording!  Really beautiful tune!  Nicely done video as well!  I do wonder if that racquet was in open tuning; and I couldn't really hear the upright VC.
