That is actually an Elan. I guess it would have been around 1700 give or take but dont quote me on it. Dave Houck would no more about it thean I would.

Body shape is a Vector, not an Elan. P+J Activators would be consistent with an Elan, but not the single pre-amp (one trimpot). So it's most probably a Persuader.

The Elan shape is more like a Jazz Bass, Vector is closer to a Precision.

I have no idea what the original price would have been, but at the time the Persuader was the least expensive Alembic.  This one is in rough shape, but I like the Flame Maple in the pictures.  If I recall correctly, there have been a few posts on how to remove decals safely, if that is indeed a decal; you might want to ask the seller.  The listing doesn't mention a case.
