Good eye, even though the angle in the pics has changed, and the way the wood reflects light...all the grain patterns are identical:

Hmm, so which one is the scam? The $888 BIN that we watched, or this new one?

I am glad I want a normal scale length so that I am not tempted too much.

I did like the Skylark that just went for $2600, but I thought that was a little too much for a maple top. I am hoping for another Series I for less than $3k.

I believe the guy that sold it the first time was legit.  We communicated by email and he offered me the $888 BIN price.  Unfortunately, he didn't give me a head's up about when he posted the new listing with the BIN and someone else grabbed it instead.  I emailed him about it and let him know that I would have paid a lot more.  He emailed me back, apologizing, and promised to offer it to me if the buyer didn't come through.  This looks like someone bought it at a great price and is doing a quick flip.  Another clue these are the same - both come with gig bags.  I'm bummed about the whole thing, but karma will eventually even things out.

I would guess that someone bought this for $888 and is now trying to turn it for $2k+. The text in both ads are about the same. They both incorrectly said it has a walnut top (it's wenge).

The BIN is $2195, but someone can put in a lower offer to see what they'll take.

I bought parts from this seller.
He's honest, but is an instrument flipper.

Say what?

A shame it didn't end up in your hands Bill...
Maybe you can work something out with the Flipper? (the instrument Flipper that is)

I thought the name sounded familiar...

he states this is his personal collection ...and that he got this one as a trade in...fishy flipper.

...like Bill said...karma always knows.

I didn't lose money on the SG deal...but I bet I could have got more if I wasn't trying to finance another purchase at the time.
Those P90's sounded sooooo good...I already miss them.
That's alright ... my karma likes me.

Not until you mentioned it.   I see it's gone all together now.  Strange that an SG is now on the same URL still reading Alembic in the string.

Just wait a couple of weeks or so. When the old listing has expired and disappeared, this guitar will show up again.
