I didn't see that anyone else had posted this find: Oceanburst Skylark. I'm pretty sure this is the guitar listed as Tealburst on our Skylark page. We originally sold it as an Oceanburst, but felt the variation with very little green at the center needed a new name.

Thank you Mica.  That is a very nice Skylark.  I am sure that the owner hates to sell it.  It shouldn't last too long.

Just for reference and thanks to Mica for some words of encouragement, I bought this Skylark. I'll let you guys know what you think mid week some time.

Congratulations Barry!  Your Alembic family is growing nicely.  You have a very nice guitar to add to your collection.  Play them in good health.
I am looking forward to your comments and pictures.

Thanks for asking Barry.  She is working out pretty well.  But I have not been spending the time with her that I would like.  I know she must feel neglected at this point.  I have been a little under the weather lately and very busy with other things.  But as the holidays approach, I plan to get reacquainted with her.  They are too fine to be confined to a case.

Ok

Wife was out last night so I got a good long time to play my new girl (amped up to 8). It is a better instrument attached to a fender amp than to a modern boutique amp for my taste. It took me a while to get used to the pickup locations (the rear pickup always seemed to be under my pick), but once I got the hang of it it played very nicely. It has beautiful tone and I had it squeeling for mommy by the end of the night.
