I talked to the seller about a month ago. He had an add up on Craigslist, but took it down, as he changed his mind about selling. At the time, I remember he said the bass would be sold and shipped for around 1350. Seemed like a nice guy, who might have been willing to even go a little lower. Hope this helps!

Nice top!

As for the reserve, this bass, an Orion 5 in near perfect condition with a nice Walnut top, should go for considerably more than the current high bid of $810.  For me personally, I would factor in the cost of getting a good hard case; but that's just me.

The seller said this bass was born on 6/23/2003 and has the MXY56 pups.  He can't find the serial number, I searched through some threads and told him to search under pots, preamps, and pickups.  Are there any other places to look for the serial number?

It must be on the back of the headstock and (if i'm not mistaken) in the control cavity, both stamped directly into the wood.
