$10K for the pair is a great deal considering what he's asking for them individually.  I suspect he might let the Series I go for $5K if someone asked nicely.  There are some fine instruments on his list, including the Mockingbird bass he has pictured.

Being a Yonkers boy myself, I would believe that the Series electronics probably don't need an upgrade or Bobby would have run into problems by now.  No way to know exactly where he lives, but there aren't too many low density areas in Yonkers.

I bought my Series 2 from this guy. Easy to deal with and no problems. He actually posted a 5 string Mark King std. w/Buckeye Burl top for sale at least a year and a half ago. Surprised he has'nt posted them here yet.

He put up a new ad yesterday that priced the Series One-and-a-Half at $5.5K and the Series 2 at $6.7K. More than I'd pay, but not terribly high compared to the asking prices I've seen this year.
