Hal told me the bottom-line, Club-member price minus power supply and cable was $3500. Have at it.

..are used by the Great Stanley Clarke and are considered The Rose Royce of Basses bar none.

I've never heard of Rose Royce before... perhaps Rolls Royce?

You are bidding on a Vintage Classic 1976...this is a a very strong 36 year old Vintage Classic Alembic Bass.

33 years old if it was built in 1976.

Too bad it is a short scale.

You've never heard of Rose Royce?  (Alembic sighting!)

You've probably heard this.

I might be interested at the $3500 figure mentioned.  What is the serial number and does the instrument come with a case?  Thanks.

Brian,

Would you rather have a long or medium scale Series?

Long or extra long when I finally pull the trigger.  Anything shorter than 34 scale feels funky to me.

I am definitely interested, however the way the auction has been run the $3500 does not seem like an acceptable price to the seller (raising the price daily - still no bidders on ebay).

Was this bass offered here first?  I didn't find 76-484 listed here.

...$5100 to be exact.
A quite interesting strategy to deminuish potential buying interest. My guess is the seller is preventing himself from loosing this baby ...

I'll admit I'm a bit confused, the ad states ....Power Supply and Cable INCLUDED... but one of the questions is  answered ...Alembic Power Supply (DS-5R) and case are sold separately.

It is a great lookiong bass!
