Just saw this on the Chicago CL.

$1200 for a P/J Elan. If I just didn't buy another bass, I'd be tempted to check it out myself.

Uhhh, that doesn't look much like a quilted maple top...

and I don't remember Europas having P/J pickups..

i don't see a q switch, definetly not quilted maple, but as far as the pickups, i once made the mistake of confusing a Europa and an Elan, while talking about Newsted's 3 pickup Elan. purhaps he is selling for a friend and was confused? maybe he stole it?

If there's no Q switch, I'm thinking that the electronics may be Persuader.
