I noticed that one last night on Craigslist.
   Older Series II  perhaps ?

It's hard to tell from the picture whether those are switches or CVQs.  Nicer pictures would definitely be helpful.

Dave, the extra large knob is probably a master vol, so it's either S1 with MV, or S2... Blowing up the photo a little it does look more like CVQ. Sweet.

I'm also thinking S2. I was in touch with the owner last week, but he appears to have drifted away since then.

Yes it is an S2! Could be an early '80's model and look at the back plate........continuous wood!! If it's in decent shape this is not a bad deal.

I tend to agree that if it's an S2 and in good shape, it does appear to be a very good deal.

The posting has expired.  I emailed the owner, yesterday, and have yet to receive a response...

You wonder why people even bother posting things if they're not going to respond to queries.  It's a really strange thing.  Sigh.

Then it sold. That would be my assumption.

If it sold, why was the posting left up so long without a response of any kind?  I'm not the only one who had a hard time getting a response from the guy.  You'd think common courtesy would dictate some form of response, like, Hey, it sold, thanks for your interest, you know?
At least, that's what I would do if I had something listed on Craig's List...

Peace;)

I have found Craigslist is one of those places that people list on and forget about, it's just not a very personal place.
