I'm the new owner and no, it's not for sale.  FYI - The bass plays and sounds like a 10' Concert Grand Steinway.  It's simply over the top, way over the top.  Can't say that it's the Fodera strings or not, but the vibes this bass makes are simply amazing.  George

Nope, I didn't push the price up as I seldom (ie. almost never) bid directly on ebay.  Sorry about loosing the bid.  Truthfully, I thought I has canceled my bid and didn't realize that I had won the auction till I was checking my email the next morning, but now that I have the bass I can honestly say that it is simply amazing.  Now if I could only find its 5 string twin brother........(Yeah right, my wife would leave me and take the dog!  I love that dog.)
