Price doesn't seem too bad when you consider we, when we import, have 10% tax on both price and freight, which comes to about $600 unless you are lucky. Then quarantine expect payment for ensuring wooden articles are free from what ever!

Don't wanna rain on anyone's parade but that's pretty expensive even over here in Oz when you consider I just got a 5 string Europa over from the US for less than $4000AU including all freight, customs & quarantine charges etc. I know which one I'd prefer, signed or not! :-)
 
There's even a 5-string Rogue up in this forum @ the moment for $2200. the Aussie exchange rate is kickin ass right now so u could probably get that over here for about $3000AU.
