I would like to tell a little bit of my own personal story here I have had an elan since I was about 17 (I'm 31 now) and had the head break almost totally off when I was around 19 I had it reglued and I have never had a problem with it. it's not pretty but for a bass that your buying if you can get over the look it just becomes a way to get it cheaper. fyi this is not my bass on craigslist I'm in michigan ... and I'd probably never sell any of my alembics. hope this helps but there is nowarrenty expressed or implied on this persuader by me
