Stolen Tribute Guitar
« on: January 22, 2011, 05:36:29 PM »
This Alembic Tribute guitar and seven other instruments were stolen on Jan 19 from NJ Guitar & Bass Center in Edison, NJ. The jerk(s) who stole it do NOT have the case.

If you happen to see it please call 732-225-4444.

The full list of stolen instruments is at www.newjerseyguitarandbasscenter.com.

Thanks guys,
John

It is always sad to hear of such things.
I hope they are recovered safely.
It would be in your best interest to get the Tribute  listed here; http://www.alembic.com/info/stolen.html

Always a good idea to post stolen Alembics here, since people do keep a lookout for anything that comes up for sale.

They have a nice collection of used Alembics there!

Im thinkint this guitar will turn up sooner or later.

Alembics are not that common, and if someone buys it not knowing it was stolen chances are they will find their way to this site.

Sorry to hear about the theft...nothing lower in life than a thief stealing other peoples hard earned things.

This almost has to leave the country if it's going to be sold. As pointed out, the market is pretty small. I would make sure that Guitar Center has the info, and any other large multi-store operation that deals in expensive used gear.

Having just recently traded my 79 Guild to a Guitar Center I found out that they hold any used gear for 30 days in order to do background checks on it.
