Wow! Beautiful bass. That's a lot of purpleheart laminates in that neck.  I'd have to double the length of my fingers to be able to use those lower strings.

He's had that bass listed for a couple months now.
It looks like the price has come down some.
I would have gone buy to take a look if he were a little closer.

Thanks Hammer, it's not as bad as it looks, I have short fingers. I just move my thumb to the E and or A string. It sounds sweet in the upper register.

Longhorncat, Yeah I've been trying to sell it for a while. I hate to go down to much in price.

Hey Dan,

I'm far in SW Austin.  As diverse as the music is here, it really seems to be a Fender bass town.
Don't lower your price.  You are right on, maybe even a little under market.
Put an ad up in the For Sale forum here and try Talkbass.com.
There is a large 6-string+ group of players that hang out there.

I had it up for $3500. I have it posted in the for sale ads here. I haven't thought about talkbass.com. I'll check it out. thanks.

You're not that far, I'm up the road in Pflugerville, I work in Austin.
