Ok,  what is up with the electronics?  4 knobs,
no Q switch, way too early for Epic/Orion electronics.  
Also the pick-ups are the newer style with Alembic on them...

I sent an e-mail off to the store and they say the bass has AXY BT Activator electronics installed. That would be the same as the standard electronics in Epic, Excel and Orion basses.
