I agree Pete !  Very nice .  Now on my watch list( not that I am intending to bid )   I will watch just like a quiet Raven on a high branch.

Ha! Wolf you have one of those Ravins as well. That's how I acquired my Series. Crafty little Ravins.

Pete,    Wise birds indeed and capable of many deeds well done !  They watch as the noisy Crows chatter away ____

This bass is so close to what im looking for but id want to send it back to mothership for a refinish and get electronics checked and the pickup selector moved. Add to that shipping and uk taxes  makes it too expensive purchase for me.

The lack of a serial number would concern me.

It seem legitimate to me. It is not uncommon for the serial number to be worn off when they are on the end of the fretboard. I don't know if the owner tried taking a rubbing but it might show more than you can see with the naked eye.

Well I still have just under 28 days to make my mind up unless someone takes it on a buy it now price. As lovely as it is it didn't have that love at first sight feeling that normally happens when I see the right one.

I'd have to agree with Jazzyvee. I've been looking for a short to medium scale series bass for a long time and for some reason this one just doesn't speak to me. Maybe it's the work that would need to be done on it, the wood recipe or whatever, but for what I assume the buyer is looking to get, and based on other series basses that are on the market I'd personally pass on this one.

With my Raven on hold at he moment, this Bass looks like a Series 2 version of Pauldo's Distillate. Very distinctive.

Easy my Raven Easy,
