I was never keen on Buckeye burl but it's growing on me slowly. I suppose it depends on the design nature has produced.  But yeah that's a lovely looking bass. You don't see many with the traditional headstock but I think it works.

I just got a  Buckeye Burl Rogue 5 and it is the sweetest looking bass that I own.  I guess what I like about them is that each one is a natural work of art, and the folks at Alembic really know how to maximize the beauty.  Some definately can look better than others though. I saw one, I think here on the sight the other day that actually had what looked like a dogs face looking at you on the head stock, it was absolutely incredible.

Nice bass but a bit steep as far as pricing goes. It's been up for sale several times
