Now that I am around to the dinner hour, I'll raise a glass of Shiraz for our friend. I'm sure the four winds have brought you safely home.

I hear a bottle banging on a table.  Now excuse me while I go get my stocking.  Missing the bad one.

Inspired by New Glarus's Abt & Lost Coast's Brother Thelonius, as well as by Mr. Lindemans, I am trying to work up a recipe for a Trappist Quadruppel ale; if it turns out well, I'm planning on naming the recipe Brother Paul (I'm trying do it so that certain malts will have ratios of 1:5, 1:5).

Here's to Paul! I'd love to raise a glass of Brother Paul to brother Paul, Peter! Great idea! I'm glad that he's still remembered.
