Alembic at CBGB's in NYC
« on: December 07, 2004, 08:04:46 AM »
The Series sound will rule at CBGB's in NYC this coming Thursday (12-9).  For those who don't know, CBGB's has been the epicenter for edgy punk/new wave/grunge etc. for many years.

I am playing as a hired gun with an original pop-metal project called Prima Donna, which is fronted by 2 guitar-playing twin sisters. Pretty good stuff for its genre.  We are playing one set at 10 p.m.

I wonder how long it's been since there was an Alembic on stage at CBGB's...or for that matter any other bass that isn't covered with stickers!

Slay 'em with that Alembic tone and sustain!  Finish them off with the trademark Alembicians' clarity of musical intent!  Let your muse rule the stage and echo in the halls!  And of course, have a blast playing in that piece of history.  What instrument of excellence will you be using?

I used one of my 6string Spoilers there back in 2001 with synth pedals through an F1X!
Now that's Punk.
