Went to see Jacko and his band BIG TUNA in Falkirk (Central Scotland) on Friday night. An excellent band with an excellent bass player!
Jacko was using Eden gear with 2x 2x10 cabs (which he borrowed from MPisanek)and a Navigator top. Basses were his Rogue 5 string fretless and a 5 string Epic. The Rogue must be one of the most beautiful basses That I have seen, with its Coco Bolo top. The sound was as I expected-------awesome. What really surprised me was the Epic. I wasn't expecting too much from it but it was incredible. Moved so much air-crisp-clean-just superb for a so called lower range instrument. I offered to take both basses home to look after them but he didn't seem too happy about that LOL!
If you are in an area where this band is playing, then go see them!! well worth it.

Hey George. Thanks for the compliment, largely undeserved I'd say. And thanks for coming out - shame you couldn't bring your series. I'm really looking forward to seeing and playing her. We got a pretty good reception in Falkirk, just a shame they left the tables in front of the stage.Meant all the dancers had to 'swing' down the aisles. Not to bad for me as they were mostly on my side of the stage wearing some very inapropriate dresses for a snowy night in Scotland - Know what I mean ;-)
I've had to give Mike his Edens back so hopefully my new EBS cabs will arrive on Tuesday. I'm getting a 2x12 and 4x10 with NEO drivers - can't wait to hear them!

I'd like to hear your opinion on the NEO drivers as they seem to be popping up in a number of cabinets.

Keith.
The new cabs sound superb. Like the Eden cabs, they really move alot of air. I was worried that the lack of weight might lighten the sound but that's not the case. They give a really clear tone with plenty of articulation right down to the low 'B' with warm, round tones, and boy are they loud! I now have 2 very subdued looking guitarists;-) A bonus is that the 2 cabs together weigh less than my old trace elliot 4x10 combo.

Congrats on your new rig, I know you put a lot of effort into deciding what to get. Glad to hear you got the warm lows your were looking for, and the 'ol back won't be suffering from lugging.

Updating with a few new dates..
Saturday 25th we're up in Auchtermuchty (home of Jimmy shand and the Proclaimers). I've borrowed a banjo to learn Duelling banjos. The worthy locals of 'muchty should be able to identify with that ;-)

Wednesday 29th we're headlining at Jools Hollands new club The Jam House in edinburgh. Quite a prestigious night for us.

Saturday 1st april is Brennans irish Bar in Perth. Can't think of anything exciting to say about perth although it's avery nice town.
