« on: August 10, 2006, 05:33:49 AM »
Hi all, I'm playing at the House of Blues in Cleveland this Saturday eveining 8/12 with Who's Next. We're opening for Almost Queen. Show starts at 9pm.

Side note: Mike Bisch was originally called to do this job but has a committment with his own band, The Who Show, that evening. Thanks for passing this gig on to me Mike.

Thanks Mike. Fortunately, I'm driving (from DC to Cleveland) the other guys are flying in from N.Y and Toronto. This should make for an interesting Saturday with the recently thwarted terrorist threat...uugh.

Stoney:

So you're the opening act?  I can aleady hear the conversation in the crowd:

Q- Who's on first?

A- Who's next

Q- I'm not asking the name of the band playing after them,  I want to know 'Who's on first?'

A- Who's next

Q-  aaaarrrrrgggghhhhh!

Somewhere in the sky, Lou Costello is smiling.

LMAO, I couldn't resist.  Have a great gig.

Thanks for all the well wishes.....this thread could go on forever. You guys are too funny!!  The gig was absolutely great. 75 minutes of top-notch Who classics, a thunderous sound system, FABULOUS fellow musicians and a crowd that just loved us!  Here are some pics.
