Who's Next at BB King's
« on: January 15, 2007, 04:26:41 PM »
Sometime in September I played up at BB King's in NYC with Who's Next. This was an after THE WHO concert party. I played keyboards most of the night having received a call from Bill Cannel at the last minute to do the gig. Godfrey Townsend (lead guitarist for JAE Band and now with Alan Parsons Project) showed up as a guest musician.  Playing My Wife on keys with Godfrey was a blast. Later on Wil tossed me his Fender and I got to jam with Godfrey on bass for a few. Note the Alembic shirt....don't leave home without it!!!
Best regards,
stoney

Thanks. Godfrey as well as all of WHO's NEXT and assorted guests are all extremely talented and a great bunch of guys.

Now that I'm sort of playing keys with them, perhaps we can get Mike Bisch into the act.....and we'll get to do a gig together.....MIKE????

Keavin, NOPE....I think that's the $89.00 K-mart (learn to play guitar in 30 minutes) special....

Bill brings one of those along to smash up if the spirit moves him...

Safety goggles should be a requirement for playing with Who's Next!!!
