My stepson plays Big Jule, he's the shortest (& youngest) cast member.

My twin brothers were in Guys & Dolls in High School.  The part of Big Jule was played by Dicky Masur who, as Richard Masur, went on to have a successful acting career, including playing the college admissions interviewer who visits Tom Cruise in Risky Business, and Anne Romano's lawyer boyfriend David in the old One Day at a Time sitcom.  (Which featured McKenzie Philips, daughter of John Philips of the Mamas & the Papas AND writer of Me & My Uncle, a song more closely associated with the Grateful Dead, who were instrumental in the birth of Alembic!  6 degrees of separation!).   (Masur was one of two students at Roosevelt H.S. to go on to fame - the other was Steve Talerico who changed his name to Steven Tyler).  I was Sky Masterson when we worked on G&D's at the Mount Vernon YM&WHA.  My all time favorite musicial.  And I've always loved Damon Runyon's short stories, on which Guys & Dolls was based.  A great score that should be fun to play.
