No, not a typo....It is actually summer at the Jersey shore, and I will be performing as a member of singer/songwriter Spring's band at the annual Clearwater Festival in Asbury Park, NJ, on Saturday, August 18th. We are scheduled to play on the east stage at 2:00pm on Saturday, so if you're in the area, stop by and say hello!

Lucky you- How did it go?- We were scheduled on the 19th and got rained out- They had a solar powered PA set up for us in the rain?- Unbelievable!

Hi Ezra,
Sorry to hear you got rained out on Sunday, but yes, it was a solar powered stage! In fact, that's the one I was on that Saturday, and what a disaster. The power went out on us 3 times in a 50 minute set, and they had no back-up 'hard-wired' power supply....I guess we kept tripping the breaker or something. I'm all for solar power, but not for rock & roll; not enough amperage!
By the way, that's an amazing custom in progress!!! I wish you the best of luck with her, and of course, pics when available!

No immediate plans right now, Ezra. A Spring gig can come up at a moments notice, and my other project is just putting final touches on our demo CD, and we should be out later this year...I'll post here when things happen. Let us know when you're around, too...would love to see your new axe when she arrives.
