« on: March 04, 2008, 10:21:38 AM »
I am really hoping my Series I will be back in action for these! Let me know if you are going to come down and I'll do my best to get you on the list!

Calling All In Transit-

Great American Taxi is getting fired up to get 2008 started up right.
All systems are go and we're getting ready to hit the highways. We have
a ton of stuff happening and are excited to let you know about what's
happening in March. Jefferson Hamer will be off the road for March as
he has some family obligations to take care but we have some exciting
friends filling in for him. Not to worry, Jefferson will be back in
April and for the rest of the year! The west coast maestro Barry Sless
(Phil and Friends, David Nelson Band and Moonalice) will be at the helm
for most of these March shows playing both pedal steel and guitar. Jim
Lewin, another west coast guitar slinger, will also be playing a few
shows as well. Please keep in touch and keep an eye out for lots of
other exciting dates coming up. See you out there...

Chicago in April. I have a pretty intense schedule for a while. Right after the Tahoe gig, I fly to Japan for a week (my wife is expanding her business to Japan, so I get to go on a trip with her!) and have about 20 hours before hitting road again after getting back! Hopefully in May I'll have some time to catch my breath.

Hope to see you in April!
Edwin

Edwin- You guys should play Louisville, Ky. Leftover always had a reasonable following there.... Let me know if you are interested, I can inform you of some good venues. Colin

We have played there, but the venue wasn't so great. 115 degrees outside and who knows how hot inside what with no air conditioning and all. We'll be back in the area sometime around Memorial Day. I'll be sure to drop a message here with our schedule!

In the meantime, if you want to let me know the venues you like, that would be awesome!
