Sorry you're not getting much response here. Looks like Olie put in a bid before your post, but nothing else obvious since then - and it's not clear to me that you're actively bidding either?

Whatever the case, my best to you, and also (to digress) my thanks. It was a bit sad that you had moved on before my custom was finished, but it was definitely worth the wait. I really appreciate your help, and to this day wonder whether I would have it, had I not connected with you on that original phone call a few years back.

Thank you guys so much for the help, and the advice. I don't think the bass could have gone to a better guy than Doc. And I'm so glad it went to somebody here from the Alembic forum! Me and my family are very happy about it. This week has been an adventure to say the least! Scarecrow, I think I'll miss you the most! -josh

Interesting, that the bass sold for almost EXACTLY what I had in as a snipe bid - until I withdrew it out of courtesy. I guess that I'm getting pretty good at setting a market value for Alembics - in my old age!
