Hi All,

I'm a new Alembic Stanley Clarke Signature bass from 1987 owner!  This bass is fantastic!  Here it is, along with Mr. Clarke....

Welcome!

Really pretty bass and looks to be in great condition. Play it in good health!

Looks great — I also see a ton of Rickenbackers in your stack.

That is a great one to choose & welcome to this forum. We love when new members join and show us their alembics.
Just a few questions from me. 😁
🤔Is it your first alembic?
🧐 Do you have space for another? (I ask that one because it seems like you prefer having more than one of a good thing).
🎶 If you are a gigging musician, can you share how your first gig with it goes please?
Enjoy that fantastic bass.
The sound of Alembic is medicine for the soul!

Thanks for the warm welcome folks!  I've been in music for 52+ years, and Stanley had a profound influence on my development when I was in high school....then I heard Jaco/Weather Report, and Percy Jones w/Brand X...all mind blowingly great players, as we know!

This is my first Alembic, and it's in great condition!  I am now on the prowl for a new Brown Bass with blue side dot markers  ;)   (Anyone here have one for sale?!)

I also play Ricks (Chris Squire - Roundabout bassline, on his 4001S sealed the deal and my fate to learn the bass), Gibsons, Fenders, Martins, and Taylors.  I am a gigging musician...see my band's website and my youtube.  Since this bass is a recent acquisition, I have not gigged with it yet.

Thanks, and talk later,
