This band is a 4pc with gtr, keys, drum & bass, with the main focus on the guitar since Chris Rea was guitarist and front man.
Up to now with this band, (two gigs and a number of rehearsals), i have more or less settled on having both filters at about mid point and no Q, pickup volumes biassed towards the neck, and only changing things for a couple of tracks which have a more bridge pickup bias and a track that sounds like it was recorded on fretless.

I take your point Jimmy and not planning to make bi-amping my norm. I'm just experimenting since i have the opportunity to scratch that itch. 🤣

The sound guy will just have the mono Di feed from my F-1x so the bi amped sound will just be for me to hear. Though i did wonder if this being an outdoor gig will make my hearing of the effect less due to lack of boundry re-inforcement, hence me considering using the 18" speaker cab.

Hey Jazzy, biamping with those cabinets may be a revelation. Letting the 18 handle the bottom octave or so will quite likely be something akin to a religious experience.
