One of my dad's absolute favorites. I asked my dad if they ever met, and he said no, but he did enjoy concerts when we lived in San Francisco.

Met Joe once.  Hung with Barry a few times.   Saw Joe play at Cache Creek Casino a few years ago.   He yelled "Gimme and F ... gimme a ...". (takes a pause, says quietly: "hmmmm, fish? f*ck? f*ck? fish?") the yells "gimme a u", etc.  Had the whole theater yelling f*ck f*ck f*ck.   Those on the casino floor next door must have been wondering what was going on!
